MODELLO DEL SECOLO A SISTEMA INDIPENDENTE

Leggendo un libro di storia è chiaro che ogni secolo potrebbe avere la sua timeline indipendente, e ogni secolo presenta tre eventi chiave: la spinta iniziale che determina il carattere del secolo, una svolta di mezzo che cambia l’ atmosfera e un epilogo che non corrisponde con il reale termine del secolo, ma lascia in eredità anni trasformativi in cui si affronta il dopo, in attesa della successiva spinta iniziale.

Il secolo storico più lungo che ho trovato è stato il 1000 – 1095 , durato 95 anni mentre il secolo storico più breve è quello del 1707 – 1764, durato 57 anni. Il supersecolo industriale ( 1764 – 1908 ) potrebbe rappresentare il più lungo periodo storico costante di tutta la storia umana, un’ anomalia generata dal fatto che si tratta di un periodo che contiene la vera singolarità tecnologica, iniziata il 31 Dicembre 1879 a Menlo Park ( Edison, la lampadina ) / primo test funzionale della lampadina di Edison avvenuto il 22 Ottobre 1879 , oppure il 10 Marzo 1876 ( prima chiamata con il telefono classico ) o il 29 Gennaio / 3 Luglio 1886 ( invenzione della prima automobile ) e generalmente a 42 anni di distanza dalla spinta iniziale si verifica una svolta di mezzo.

Abbiamo quindi compreso che quasi sicuramente abbiamo già sorpassato la spinta iniziale del Ventunesimo Secolo, rappresentata possibilmente dal terrorismo, dalla concentrazione temporale di Youtube* ( * per concentrazione temporale intendo il fenomeno per cui il passato non rappresenta più un’ epoca distante e inaccessibile ma invece internet e Youtube in particolare alimentano il ristagno culturale e l’ attaccamento nostalgico al passato recente limitando l’ attrazione verso il futuro) , dalla crisi economica e del debito, dal disastro nucleare e devastazione dell’ oceano pacifico intorno al Giappone, dalla guerra in Siria che potrebbe tramutarsi in mondiale, dal riemergere della bipolarità delle superpotenze e dalla rivalità russo – americana, dall’ emergere del terrorista solitario*, oppure dal fenomeno e identità del migrante come archetipo. Pare che quasi nessuna di queste spinte siano contrassegnate dalla tecnologia ( gli aerei difficilmente verranno ancora usati in attacchi terroristici, ma le auto potrebbero diventare una costante visti i continui attacchi copycat di Nizza ) – * in questo caso si potrebbe anche collocare la spinta iniziale al 2016 con l’ attacco terroristico sulla Promenade di Nizza per mezzo di un camion sulla folla – e sono comunque tutti abbastanza negativi, simboleggiano un secolo di grande agitazione provocata dal contrasto Occidente – Islam o Russia – Stati Uniti, un ristagno culturale che rischia di diventare una costante secolare, il possibile declino della civiltà provocato da un collasso dell’ economia generale, le possibili conseguenze della devastazione oceanica e atmosferica provocata da Fukushima, il rischio che la Siria diventi il centro del prossimo Conflitto Mondiale, e il rischio determinato dal disagio della convivenza con i migranti e della differenza culturale fra noi e loro.

Disastri naturali e attacchi terroristici nella decade – 2040, alluvione del mare del Nord, 1836 vittime nei paesi bassi e 307 in Inghilterra, con 133 passeggeri coinvolti, in un traghetto irlandese. Il 12 Agosto del 2040, 7.2 di magnitudo nel mar Ionio devasta Cefalonia e Giacinto in Grecia. Nel 2044 7.6 di magnitudo a Los Angeles, California. Nel 2045 7.5 di magnitudo nella Lituya Bay in Alaska. Nel 2047 9.5 di magnitudo in Cile.

Leaders della decade – Nel 2040 Putin muore per infarto; nel 2041 il leader Brasiliano è accusato dell’ omicidio del suo rivale politico. All’ inizio della decade negli Usa c’è una presidente donna, che muore il 24 Settembre 2042 in carica, in vacanza in Colorado, Denver. Nel 2043 debuttano le figure asiatiche corrispondenti a Fidel Castro e Che Guevara, ribelli Giapponesi. Il 16 Novembre 2044 muore di nuovo un presidente Usa in carica. Il 9 Ottobre 2045 muore il Papa Pio XIII, il nuovo Papa sarà Giovanni XXIV. A metà decade in Giappone il primo ministro è un ribelle rivoluzionario. Il 9 Ottobre 2046 il leader della EEU ( Eurasia ) viene ucciso in Francia assieme a un ministro locale. Nel 2048 ci sarà un presidente Usa paragonabile a Kennedy.

Progresso relativo allo spazio – Nel 2040 Titano viene esplorato con un sottomarino durante l’ estate del pianeta, senza usare umani, nel Mare di Kraken. E’ un lago di metano ed etanolo, a 300 metri e -179 gradi. Bastano poche decine di dollari al chilo per lanciare umani e cargo nello spazio. Aggiornamenti sulle nazioni – La Lituania entra nell’ Eurasia nel 2040. La Crimea e il Donbas vengono divise da un muro nel 2041. La Spagna è ora una Repubblica Islamica nel 2043. Nel 2044 il Ghana si divide in Costa d’ Oro e Togoland. Nel 2045 l’ Egitto e la Siria formano una Repubblica Araba Unita fino al 2048. L’ Iraq e la Giordania fondano una federazione hashemita. Nel 2047 Guanabara, Rio de Janeiro, secede dal Brasile. Nel 2047 il Somaliland si divide dalla Somalia, e il Kasai Sud secede dal Congo, che ora forse si chiama Middle Congo. Vengono creati gli Stati Comuni Americani Centrali ( CSCA ). Il 23 Giugno 2048 viene revisionato il Trattato Antartico per fondare una nuova nazione antartica, che diventerà importante: West Antarctica. Viene formato il nuovo Gruppo Casablanca fra Marocco e Repubblica Araba Unita con altri 3 paesi. Nel 2048 la Turchia se ancora indipendente potrebbe entrare nell’ Eurasia.

Guerre e altri conflitti della decade – 2040, guerra civile Laotiana. Il Sunnistan invade una zona Libica a Sirte. Nel 2041 comincia il conflitto fra Francia e ( Vietnam, Nord Corea, Cina – Guerra del Vietnam ). Scoppia una guerra civile in Guatemala per i prossimi 35 anni. Comincia una Guerra Fredda Coreana. Il 1 Novembre 2042 scoppia la Guerra del ( Vietnam, Corea, Cina ) fra sud e nord. Nel 2045 le truppe ribelli Giapponesi cominciano a invadere le coste Giapponesi, e il leader si dimette. Nel 2047 vi sono conflitti per le risorse idriche in Egitto, Iraq, Sunnistan, Cina, India. Nel 2048 gli Usa vengono coinvolti nella guerra del ( Vietnam, Corea, Cina ), e nel 2049 scoppia la crisi dei missili Giapponese, che consiste in uno stand-off di 12 giorni riguardante delle foto di armi a fusione/ nucleari installate.

Eventi sportivi chiave della decade – Il 25 Agosto 2048 cominciano le Olimpiadi di Roma, in Italia, e nel 2046/2047 ci sarà un altro mondiale in Medio Oriente.

Cambiamenti climatici – Nel 2041 l’ Artico è privo di ghiaccio per una stagione intera, l’ estate, le Alpi sono senza neve, con un forte impatto sulle risorse idriche Svizzere. Grandi Costruzioni – Nel 2044 viene gradualmente a formarsi a questo punto una autostrada trans-globale, un insieme di strade che connette ogni continente, tranne forse l’ Oceania. In Usa si protesta per la disgregazione del sistema scolastico non virtuale. Sparisce la seconda classe in Inghilterra. Rivoluzione della regione Uighura, della minoranza islamica in Cina, tentata indipendenza e invasione da parte dell’ armata cinese. Migliaia di vittime nella soppressione delle rivolte.

2044 I veterani della Seconda Guerra Mondiale stanno morendo. In pochi partecipano al centenario del D-Day in Francia, il 6 Giugno 2044. Aumenta lo heat stress sul lavoro esterno, in luoghi caldi, d’ estate, efficienza ridotta dell’ 80%, colpi di calore, stanchezza, crampi, non si può fare sport ed esercizio fisico e si deve stare al chiuso, aumentando l’ appeal della realtà virtuale.
