Critica all’ ateismo ( Wikipedia )

Prima di cominciare vorrei fare una considerazione personale: quest’ anno ho cercato di immedesimarmi nel pensiero ateo, e per uno come me, che negli anni non ha mai nemmeno pensato ad un mondo senza Dio ( o senza un significato intrinseco ) è stato difficilissimo. L’ idea in sé è del tutto inaccettabile, e in cuor mio stento a credere che ci siano persone capaci di abbracciare l’ oblio e farlo proprio, ma non solo, diffonderlo agli altri. E’ uno stile di vita e un modo di pensare assolutamente tossico, l’ eroina sotto forma di dogma per una mente sana. La gente deve avere una forza d’ animo incredibile, oppure deve essere così immersa nel suo presente individuale, per abbracciare con tutta calma una idea del genere. A volte mi chiedo da quali persone sono circondato, non riesco a comprenderli. Poi ogni tanto incontro i ” serenamente atei ” e rabbrividisco. Che cosa stiamo facendo alla nostra società, alla nostra vita interiore … nessun vero ateo può essere mai sereno. Come possiamo osannare una scienza che ci racconta che non siamo niente, una scienza che non risolve nessuno dei principali problemi delle nostre vite, come possiamo svuotare questo mondo di significato, e vivere sereni?

Dovrei essere imbarazzato? Sentirmi un po’ scemo perché non riesco ad accettare quel che viene comodamente definita realtà ( ma che accidenti ne sappiamo noi della realtà? ) A volte mi sento un po’ infantile, quando mi ritrovo con la mente annebbiata dalla noia e dalla tristezza, per questo mondo senza Dio, e per le nostre brevi vite. Vedo le altre persone tutte prese dall’ intensità del momento, che non si fermano MAI  a pensare, perché ormai fermarsi a riflettere è diventato un malessere, la gente ti chiede ” ma stai bene? ” se ti ritrova un po’ assorto nei tuoi pensieri per qualche istante.

Certamente ho anche io i miei dubbi, le certezze non esistono. Non esistono comunque nemmeno le certezze degli atei. Trovo la ” realtà ” così limitata e primitiva rispetto al regno dell’ immaginazione. Ma sono arrivato alla conclusione che abbracciare l’ ateismo ( soprattutto se militante, perché questi sono quelli veri, gli altri lo sono tutti per sentito dire, perché convinti da tale e tal’ altra ” indubbiamente vera ” teoria ) una manovra psicologica deviata, significa rendere razionale un malessere psichico, e farlo proprio come se fosse l’ unico stile di vita realistico.

In sostanza, non siete diversi dalla comunità dei gender – fluid. Sì, proprio loro, i    ” Galileo della sessualità ” ( un commento che ho trovato su fb ) Indottrinati dalla mala scienza, dai messaggeri dell’ oblio, dai riduzionisti, veri e propri criminali del pensiero, pretendete che il vostro modo di vivere e di pensare venga accettato come ” realtà assoluta ” e pretendete che tutti gli altri vengano etichettati come sbagliati e imbecilli.

I gender – fluid, almeno la maggioranza, sono in buona fede. Gli atei possono essere in buona fede quando vogliono proteggerti da eventuali delusioni ma allo stesso tempo quando si spingono troppo in là possono diventare elementi tossici. Non bisogna ” tollerarli “. Io ormai non li tollero più, neanche nei giorni in cui mi immedesimo in loro, perché temo che mi abbiano attaccato un virus del pensiero. Non tolleriamoli, ma in silenzio. Inutile dibattere. Se ne accorgeranno da soli quando si troveranno in eventuali difficoltà della vita, a non riuscire più ad aggrapparsi a nessuna speranza, per via dei paradigmi intoccabili che si sono piazzati nella mente.

Boston College philosophy professor Peter Kreeft writes:

“If there is no first cause, then the universe is like a great chain with many links; each link is held up by the link above it, but the whole chain is held up by nothing.  If there is no first cause, then the universe is like a railroad train moving without an engine.  Each car’s motion is explained proximately by the motion of the car in front of it; the caboose moves because the boxcar pulls it, the boxcar moves because the cattle car pulls it, et cetera.  But there is no engine to pull the first car and the whole train.  That would be impossible, of course.  But that is what the universe is like if there is no first cause: impossible.”

Various contemporary agnostics like Carl Sagan and theists such as Dinesh D’Souza have criticised atheism for being an unscientific position. ( POSIZIONE ANTISCIENTIFICA L’ ATEISMO )  Analytic philosopher Alvin Plantinga, Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame, argues that a failure of theistic arguments might conceivably be good grounds for agnosticism, but not for atheism; and points to the observation of an apparently “fine-tuned Universe” ( UNIVERSO FINE TUNED: non perdete tempo a scervellarvi sul multiverso; NON ESISTE UN UNIVERSO PARALLELO )  as more likely to be explained by theism than atheism. Oxford Professor of Mathematics John Lennox holds that atheism is an inferior world view to that of theism ( IL TEISMO COME VISIONE DEL MONDO – SUPERIORE – ALL’ ATEISMO ) and attributes to C.S. Lewis the best formulation of merton’s thesis that science sits more comfortably with theistic notions on the basis that Men became scientific in Western Europe in the 16th and 17th century “[b]ecause they expected law in nature, and they expected law in nature because they believed in a lawgiver.’ ( SI CERCAVANO LE LEGGI DELLA NATURA PERCHE’ SI CREDEVA IN UN LEGISLATORE ) In other words, it was belief in God that was the motor that drove modern science”. ( IL CREDO IN DIO HA ATTIVATO LA SCIENZA MODERNA – non come si crede ora, per cercare una alternativa al modo di pensare religioso, ma per RAFFORZARLO ) American geneticist Francis Collins also cites Lewis as persuasive in convincing him that theism is the more rational world view than atheism. Other criticisms focus on perceived effects on morality and social cohesion. The Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire, a deist, saw godlessness as weakening “the sacred bonds of society”, ( SECONDO VOLTAIRE L’ ATEISMO INDEBOLIVA LA COESIONE SOCIALE )  writing: “If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him”. ( IL CHE SIGNIFICA – Abbiamo bisogno di Dio, che vi piaccia o meno )  The father of classical liberalism, John Locke, believed that the denial of God’s existence would undermine the social order and lead to chaos. ( SECONDO JOHN LOCKE LA – NEGAZIONE DI DIO – avrebbe portato ad una disgregazione dell’ ordine sociale e al caos )  Edmund Burke, an 18th-century Irish philosopher and statesman praised by both his conservative and liberal peers for his “comprehensive intellect”, saw religion as the basis of civil society and wrote that “man is by his constitution a religious animal; that atheism is against, not only our reason, but our instincts; and that it cannot prevail long”.  ( SECONDO BURKE, LA SPIRITUALITA’ E’ INSITA SIA NELLA RAGIONE CHE NELL’ ISTINTO e ne siamo costituiti, non possiamo farne a meno e l’ ateismo non potrà sopravvivere a lungo )Pope Pius XI wrote that Communist atheism was aimed at “upsetting the social order and at undermining the very foundations of Christian civilization“. In the 1990s, Pope John Paul II criticised a spreading “practical atheism” as clouding the “religious and moral sense of the human heart” and leading to societies which struggle to maintain harmony.

Chesterton holds that “[h]e who does not believe in God will believe in anything”. ( A differenza del pensiero comune e dai suggerimenti del buon senso, colui che non crede in un Dio, riuscirà ad essere persuaso a credere in qualsiasi altra cosa )

GLI ATEI COME PREDE FAVORITE DEGLI IMPULSI SUICIDI

Inserisco una mia considerazione: solo ad un ateo convinto, pur essendo in uno stato di salute fisica normale, può passare per la mente di suicidarsi. Non ci sono appigli alla disperazione di un ateo. Quando si abbraccia l’ ateismo, ci si dovrebbe ricordare di questo particolare: dal mio punto di vista un ateo convinto dovrebbe essere guardato con una certa attenzione, soprattutto in periodi critici della sua vita. Li vediamo ogni anno, quelle persone apparentemente normali e tranquille, che ad un certo punto diventano omicidi, suicidi. Queste persone sono in salute fisica normale, ma l’ irrazionalità dell’ ateismo che hanno abbracciato, li porta a queste situazioni estreme. Quindi, io vi dico, attenzione a quali stili di vita abbracciate, perché da un momento all’ altro potreste ritrovarvi senza appigli psicologici. Tutte quelle speranze che tengono in vita una persona di fede, voi li vedete come cose vergognose, imbarazzanti e infantili. Potreste diventare i peggiori nemici di voi stessi. 

In a global study on atheism, sociologist Phil Zuckerman noted that though there are positive correlations with societal health among organically atheist nations, countries with higher levels of atheism also had the highest suicide rates compared to countries with lower levels of atheism. 

PERCHE’ CI VOGLIONO ATEI: perché così facciamo meno figli e pensiamo esclusivamente a soddisfare noi stessi ( According to William Bainbridge, atheism is common among people whose social obligations are weak and is also connected to lower fertility rates in some industrial nations – l’ ateismo è comune fra le persone con una ridotta rete sociale ed è connessa a bassi livelli di fertilità )

QUANDO GLI ATEI NON POTEVANO TESTIMONIARE A CORTE ( in Usa ): in the United States, atheists were not allowed to testify in court because it was believed that an atheist would have no reason to tell the truth – ( Una volta gli atei non potevano testimoniare a corte, perché si riteneva che PER UN ATEO NON C’E’ RAGIONE DI DIRE LA VERITA’ )

Evolutionary biologist Kenneth R. Miller notes that such a conception of evolution and morality is a misunderstanding of sociobiology and at worst it is an attempt to abolish any meaningful system of morality ( La concezione così in tal modo, alla Dawkins, dell’ evoluzione ( che su questo blog abbiamo affrontato e sappiamo essere FALLACE ) è una incomprensione della sociobiologia ed è un TENTATIVO DI ABOLIRE OGNI SISTEMA DI MORALITA’ )

Per un vero ateo scompare la differenza fra il bene e il male; sappiatelo quando elogiate uno di questi atei radicali. Questo è il tipico ragionamento degli assassini psicotici. Eppure voi ci venite a dire che è perfettamente logico dal vostro punto di vista ateo. Sono CONVINTO che TUTTI gli assassini vengano cresciuti come atei sin da piccoli.

EPPURE ogni tanto INCONTRO DELLA GENTE che si ritiene ORGOGLIOSA DEI LORO BAMBINI ATEI. Cresciuti ” a contatto con la realtà “, consapevoli di cosa li aspetta.

NON NEGATELO: L’ ATEISMO E’ UNA FEDE

ABBIAMO PAURA DEI LEADERS RELIGIOSI MEDIORIENTALI, MA:

Later massive atrocities were committed in the East by those ardent atheists, Pol Pot and Mao Zedong. All religions, all ideologies, all civilizations display embarrassing blots on their pages”

And who can deny that Stalin and Mao, not to mention Pol Pot and a host of others, all committed atrocities in the name of a Communist ideology that was explicitly atheistic? Who can dispute that they did their bloody deeds by claiming to be establishing a ‘new man’ and a religion-free utopia? These were mass murders performed with atheism as a central part of their ideological inspiration, they were not mass murders done by people who simply happened to be atheist

Giberson and Artigas note that the overwhelming majority of science articles in any journal in any field have nothing to with origins because most research is funded by taxpayers or private corporations so ultimately practical research that benefit people, the environment, health and technology are the core focus of science; significant portions of scientists are religious and spiritual; and the majority of scientists are not hostile to religion since no scientific organization has any stance that is critical to religion, the scientific community is diverse in terms of worldviews and there is no collective opinion on religion

Evolutionary biologist Kenneth R. Miller has argued that when scientists make claims on science and theism or atheism, they are not arguing scientifically at all and are stepping beyond the scope of science into discourses of meaning and purpose. What he finds particularly odd and unjustified is in how atheists often come to invoke scientific authority on their non-scientific philosophical conclusions like there being no point or no meaning to the universe as the only viable option when the scientific method and science never have had any way of addressing questions of meaning or lack of meaning, or the existence or non-existence of God in the first place.

LA NOZIONE DI LEGGE DELLA FISICA E’ TEOLOGICA PER PRINCIPIO: Physicist Paul Davies of Arizona State University has written that the very notion of physical law is a theological one in the first place: Isaac Newton first got the idea of absolute, universal, perfect, immutable laws from the Christian doctrine that God created the world and ordered it in a rational way

Francis Collins, the American physician and geneticist who lead the Human Genome Project, argues that theism is more rational than atheism:

Collins also found Lewis persuasive and after reading Mere Christianity came to believe that a rational person would be more likely to believe in a god. Collins argues: “How is it that we, and all other members of our species, unique in the animal kingdom, know what’s right and what’s wrong… I reject the idea that that is an evolutionary consequence, because that moral law sometimes tells us that the right thing to do is very self-destructive. If I’m walking down the riverbank, and a man is drowning, even if I don’t know how to swim very well, I feel this urge that the right thing to do is to try to save that person. Evolution would tell me exactly the opposite: preserve your DNA. Who cares about the guy who’s drowning? He’s one of the weaker ones, let him go. It’s your DNA that needs to survive. And yet that’s not what’s written within me”.

Lo stile di vita evoluzionistico – darwinista ci suggerisce di difendere e preservare il nostro DNA, anche se qualcun altro è in pericolo di vita. Un ateo è costretto a vivere in modo solipsistico, gli altri non contano niente rispetto al suo io. Ricordatevelo, la prossima volta che andate in vacanza al mare con un ateo radicale convinto.  

 Voglio concludere con un altro pensiero personale: la Storia ci perdonerà se per un periodo della nostra vita incominciamo un percorso di vita ateo. E’ quasi obbligato in un mondo pervaso di teorie che cercano di girare attorno a Dio ( il multiverso ), in un mondo dove esistono persone psicopatiche e disperate, in un mondo di brutte malattie sulle quali la scienza e la medicina ci commerciano e ci guadagnano ( CURARLE PORTA VIA I SOLDI AL LORO FUTURO ) è comprensibile dubitare, non dobbiamo aver paura di dubitare, non dobbiamo sentirci in imbarazzo se dubitiamo, viviamo in un’ era della Storia che ormai da tempo ha accettato l’ ateismo, abbiamo una scienza che viene considerata un fatto assoluto e indemocratico che ci racconta determinate cose, quindi è comprensibile che qualcuno di noi creda nel ” brodo primordiale ” e che lo usi come un’ arma per persuadere il povero ingenuo Testimone di Geova che si sbaglia, del resto il brodo primordiale è ormai un ” fatto assodato “, non è così? Il mondo è brutto e limitato, da un certo punto di vista, e noi siamo semplici esseri umani.

MA NON LASCIAMOCI INTOSSICARE DA STILI DI VITA POTENZIALMENTE DEVIANTI. Non accettiamo NULLA come inevitabile. Dalla depressione si può uscire, al vizio si può rinunciare, e si può mantenere un certo autocontrollo che ci impedisca di combinarla grossa. Se credete di poter andare avanti con l’ idea di essere ” serenamente atei ” lo credete adesso. Sarà un pensiero del tutto transitorio e ve ne accorgerete. CERCATE IL SIGNIFICATO NASCOSTO e TROVATE UN APPIGLIO. Trovatelo anche se non condividete. Se ci tenete a voi stessi dovete farlo.

SUGGERISCO COMUNQUE DI VIVERE INTENSAMENTE IL PRESENTE, perché così offuscherete i brutti pensieri. Datevi da fare, FATE e PENSATE DI MENO. Fate PER UNO SCOPO e CON UN SIGNIFICATO. E non lasciatevi dire che siete DI MENO.
